Armada Pipe Cleaner thoughts?

I want a fast ski, with no rocker. I like Armadas style, quality, and durability. Im only going to be skiing park, no pipe unless we get a great snowfall next year, lots of jumps, good amount of rails. I weigh about 160, and im 5'11. I originally was looking at the t-hall, but then the pipe cleaner caught my attention. My local ski shop guru said its going to be to stiff and heavy for anyone skiing the park normally. The Armada website says that they would be flexier than the ar7, and theres no reason they would be heavier? Anyone have any experience using this ski as a normal day to day park lapper?

The PC is an awsome ski< its stiff and fast> Not the most playfull i found but on jumps, larger features and ripping around the mountain there great.I have had the AR6, Thall and PC. The AR6 were the best all round, the PC were amazing at speed, and the Thalls are the most playfull and buttery (but there not great out of the park).

thyre an amazing park ski, the only thing is that you have to upkeep the bases. like, really take care of them

i think the pipe cleaners are even better than the ar7's they are stiff, and fast, and hold an edge well

yeah i knew that, im used to the alpha 1s, i just dont think rocker is necessary for a park ski

Thanks, that actually helped alot! What year are your pcs? Armada said they lightened the flex to handle the pipe transitions better

Thats weird. I picked up a pair at my ski shop just to look at and they were literally a pair of noodles wobbling all over the place. They were last years i think.

This years pipe cleaners are like an upgraded version of the ar7 with a slightly softer flex, and are suposedly a little bit lighter, the base is beter and they have the same construction, hope that helps,

The pcs have the same base as the alpha 1
