Armada outerwear tech

Gotta know, from experience, anyone out there put it through rough conditions. i.e. WET HEAVY snowfall? Looking to know if the Waterproof is going to hold up on all their 10k stuff through baker's shit this year?

Do you mean the tech fleeces?
I really want to get the lorenzo soft shell but its designed for late season with a few layers underneath - it has no insulation so it will not be warm enough over xmas.

By the way. I have this(taking it back because Armada sues companies over ski shapes) It is not all long and steezy. I have the XL, and it actually fits pretty snug.

I'm 5'9" and the Medium fitted me properly round the shoulders and arms, but was still long in the body. Go for XXL i suggest.

i dunno, that's what i'm wondering. what does the rating mean exactly.... I've been told the 10k will hold up as long as you're not washing/drying or beating it up too bad....

Depending on how baggy, you might look into one of the long fit hoodies. Just got my Fieval in XL and it's real sick, bigger than my normal XXL by 3 or so inches, but skinnier in the waist so its' not unnecessarily wide.

10k/10k is not adequate for Baker/Whistler, especially if you sweat easily and doubly so if the jacket is insulated. The jacket will soak through after a wet powder day (say temperature is right around freezing, rain at the parking lots and snow half way up) and faster if you are hiking or it is actually raining. I upgraded from an Orage 10k/10k to an eVent shell last year, it's a night and day difference, so much more comfortable, stay perfectly dry and it dumps heat fast while hiking or on the lift.

Armada used eVent on the Galatica shell last year but switched to another fabric this year due to manufacturing issues, but their top of the line shell (Tracker) would be an awesome choice if you can afford it. Otherwise get a Goretex Pro-shell, Burton AK is a good choice and you can find it cheap on eBay. Trust me, unless you really do not produce heat/sweat while you ski, get a high end shell if you ski in the PNW.

how tall are you, fievel xl what i'm looking into and it sounds like it would be good,+k to you

op sorry for the threadjack
