you want a ski designed by the best skiers, or a ski designed by snowlerbladers?. you make the choice

i've checked out next year's armadas & next year's lines. they both seem great- light, strong and snappy. my personal opinion would be to go with the lines though- for 3 reasons: you can get the new binding, the graphics are cooler, and there are more models to choose from.

except it makes lines true twintop slogan worthless when all of their money went into developing carving skis. the skis are the same next year folks, aside from adding a handfull of carvers.

-jon, skiing the ice so the other half of the country doesnt have to.

Hi, my name is Thergood I'm here because i have an addiction, I am addicted to marajuana.

..i seen him!

.You ever suck some dick for marajuana?

armadas are probably really good. If you can find them to demo try em out. If not go with line because tons of people will tell you they like em.

My girlfriend told me to shove my skis up my ass

Armadas man, they are bullet proof, they are different then Lines, not as light and are pretty stiff, just depends what kind of ski you like, I've skied the Armada AR5 and ARV and they rule, I think Lines are too flimsy

Line - they have way better graphics and a wider range to choose from

line has a hide range of lengths and dimensions in their skis plus most of their skis come in similar lengths to eachother but with different core construction so you can really get a ski the works for your speciic level and style of riding. I've seen and flexed a pair of armada up close and they seem to be stiffer and a little heavier. The response i got from the guy riding them was they were very responsive good pop and equally balanced tip to tail. I'm 5'8' and around 140 lbs and am look at getting the mike nick 171 pro model skis because i demoed them and really liked how the handled edge to edge, rode fakie, and how they poped off jumps. Most places that sell line allow you to demo a couple pairs of skis, so id say demo the lines first, then try to compare flexing them by hand to flexing armadas by hand if you cant find any armadas to demo. That should give you a rough estimate on how the armadas compare to lines and vice versea.

I just wanna ski, is that to much to ask in life

I just bought the Line mavericks 160's and they are pretty good

They are very light yet strong

They are flexible, but it depends on your personal preference

Its also a good ski outside the park, you can ski pretty well with them

I think they are an overall good ski, but demo them and the Armadas to see which is best

I prefer Line as a company because of their variety. I've never skied on Armadas and probably never will because they don't have the product I want. Line made the Ostness Dragon, which I love and now they have the EP Pro which is similar enough to the Voile Carbon Surf (a tele-speficif mid-fat twin) that I can get a ski to meet my needs while still giving money to a company that deserves it. My two cents, anyway.

I ride original skogens (some of the best park skis ever in my humble opinion) and this years Motherships, which fucking rule. I bet Armada's are pretty tight too though but like most people I've yet to ride them. Do Armada's have full sized tails? (like Line if you know what I'm saying)

i actually held a pair of armada in my hands, they have nothing to do with the snooblades made at line, its a real solid ski.....

i've heard a lot of the reactor binding being shit. it's heavy and it's broken on a couple of kids. the skis are sick just for the warranty, not many companies will replace your skis if you screw-up your edges (even though they don't officially warranty them). as armadas on the other hand seem like a sick ski. i know one person that has them and he seems to like them very much.

Again, Line is completely redoing the reactor for next year, the design will be the same but with higher quality materials... this year, they just wanted to get it out the door.

As far as the comparison, I'll wait to ride the Armadas before judging.
