Armada makin binding..............??

ha ha no lets take this seriously. I haven't heard anything on the subject but that would be awsome
 
why would it be awesome? so they would probably do the same as movement and 4frnt. just pay VIST to put their name on a binding. also, look what happend to line with that shit ass reactor binding

 
Yes they are, its called the Revolution. They've teamed up with eldar innovations http://www.elgrind.com in order to bring a binding that is completely compatible with the soul grinding plate. Sounds like a sick idea to me.

It might seem sketch to you now but when the armada pros are throwing 360s and 180s and 540s on to rails and boxes with the new grinding system everyone is going to think its sick. I'm really not supposed to tell anyone about this cause they want to keep it on the dl until you see Tanner and TJ using it but I don't care.
 
I don't understand how that works but it looks as lame as one foot grinds from what I could understand
 
i'm officially not participating in that revolotion, you'd friggin kill yourself if you fell on those?? Maye if they make it better integrated into the binding it could be cool... and I guess it could be fun as a park rate, but as someone who spends half his time out of the park I wouldn't want those metal slabs of doom on my skis.
 
those plates look like shit. and besides, no one on the armada team is down with the in line steez, i HIGHLY doubt that.

 
Too bad its Boyd whos helping pioneer it and who told me about it. Face it, rollerblading is dope, this new system is going to revolutionize skiing. I know the eldar site is not that great but thats because their shit hasn't gone big yet. By next season that shit is going to be up in running full on. You guys are lucky I'm letting you in on this secret so early cause I wasn't supposed to.
 
I actually think that it would be fun, I rollerblade though. However, it would suck if you couldn't take them off when you wanted to leave the park for the day. No one skis all day in the park, do they?
 
I have to call bullshit on this one. Line already tried the grind plate thing years ago on skiboards, and it didn't work then. Doing that on full size skis is just retarted, and Armada is not making bindings for that shit. Especially since their riders have publicly mocked 1 footed grinds.
 
Like I said, not all the riders are going to use the grind plate because its not their style. By the way it is not a 1 footed grind, its sliding a grind plate thats attached to your ski and curves up next to you boots. Imagine skiers grinding with one ski forward and one sideways on the rail or box, it'll look sick.
 
i teach sailing over the summer and my boss, this dude kevin, pretty chill guy, was telling me about his older bro who took out a paten on something much like that elgrind thingy, wonder if this is what he was talking about
 
it would make sence, salomon makes bindings and boots. the only bad thing is that you would most likely just get a binding similar to a rossignol binding and it would cost more cuz it says armada. good idea for people who are sponsered by armada.
 
god please no... im all for progression.... but this really does look stupid. skis are too awkwardly shaped to do soul grinds. original grinds like brokens, overcrooks, and balewolfs should be the future. plus, when you want to lay down some turns, this stupid ass plate will be all over the ground and messin shit up. i vote no on these eldar shits
 
how hard are you laughing when you type this ? the only believable part is boyd being part of it, that fool sells oxygen other than that i dont think so.
 
sorry sid, but im not beleving this one bit. Armada has done alot of work to make their company "core" and such and for them to come out with something like this, even if its only in part by them would destroy the immage they have worked a while to make. This system, while its a cool idea, should stay just that, a cool idea. It looks rather rediclous in the long run and I see several law suits due to injuries early on in this companys history. I dont think this will fly at all
 
googd skiiers can already slide wiht one foot sideways and one front on boxes, and wide rails
