I really want the JP Auclair Pro Models next year, but the only size i hear they come in is 191. Does Ne1 know if they make anything in the 170-180 range. Because i can't find ne info.

thnx

that doesn't really make too much sense to me. i understand that most pro models only come in one size but how well are those going to be able to sell at 191? that's way too big for the average size person.

191 is perfect for bc......if you can't handle it, grow up faster

Yeah, for BC lines and jumps longer skis are better because they give you more stability and float. Supposedly the JP/Julien Pros are softer than the ARVs making them easier to handle too. Don't be intimidated by long skis, in my experience, they are better. I think they will be my next pair of skis next year.

What's on the other side of that wall?

'I'm in his nigger crew' (my little brother in response to my statement that he was in my 'digger crew')

'My knee hurts' (Jeff Merat after grinding a lunch table for an hour instead of sitting in the ski patrol shack for his torm mcl and acl which he got earlier that day.)

'I'm not asking for any help, just mabe for you to get off your ass.'(my dad)

The waist is 103. They only come in one length. Dont be a puss, ski a longer ski. The tail is also higher than the tip to help with switch landings/takeoffs/riding.

If you want something shorter with similair dimensions check out the Maiden AK from K2.

Its a longer ski for a couple of reasons... 1. because it has a softer flex than the ARV and 2. it is more center mounted. The length was increased to keep the tips from diving (when landing switch and regular in pow) The extra lenght also gives it more float.

tanner's skiing on them... hes like five foot nothing and weighs about as much as a hampster turd. They really don't feel like 191's

and if in doubt DEMO! wheeeoooo!!!! They're dope, even an schmuck like me can land fakie in pow.

Sounds sick, but im in the east so i think i might just hit up the tanners

the best about big skis is they make a way stronger skier after a few weeks on them. u need more power to work them around and it rules cause then ur can kick ass on big sticks

kbus1224: i see how it is, ski movie more important than me?

191 isn't too long for backcountry, and the tails on those things are huge too, so the actual running length should make them ski more like a 180 something twin.

^^Skisbore hit it directly on the head.

Saw Julien, JP and TJ riding them in France and they were stoked about them. They have ZERO sidecut tho, so not a ski for outside the backcountry. The graphics are nice too.

Graphics are nice, but yah def. not a ski for anything except deep BC. 191cm, 103mm waist, pretty soft flex isn't great on hardpack.

better to burn out...

...then fade away

ya the sidecut isnt big at all. i was comparing them to my pistols and they are not as wide at the tip, but wider at the waist. TJ was killin the switch pow landings in France
