There's a dude at Sunday River who rips on one of these ski bikes. (Actually... idk about rips, but he goes really fast.)

I honestly think its kind of impressive just because I cant imagine falling on one of these. Your legs all tangled up in this heavy ass piece of metal. Couldnt be me.

Stiga has the true Bob. They are fun i remember jumping like 7 meters on it ones in a jump i build and jumped off it in the air because i thought it be scary to land on it When jumping so big lol. I saw someone ones at the mountain sliding the boxes with one to.

This is one of my favorite eras not only because it's when I really came into the sports, but snowboarding and skiing had an interesting relationship. Propaganda, and straight jackets unleashed has a lot of the same spots. It was cool to see them getting down on each others builds. Also just the era of the park build in movies that really went away almost completely. Def wish I had gotten to build at some of the bigger mountains in those days.

I know snowboarders and skiers have weird mostly fake beef, but Johnny Tsunami died for our sins and we should be friends. Movies from this era really show the vibe.

Also regarding the loop. In Unleashed there's a pretty sick behind the scenes about the build on that. It collapsing on the dudes gf and breaking her back, and them building it again. Def a groundbreaking never been done vibe feature at a time when both sports were pushing the boundaries figuring out what worked and what didn't.

I used to have one as a kid except mine was neon colors. I think my dad towed us behind his truck or a snowmobile with it a few times. Idk it was something negligent AF by todays parenting standards maybe we have some old pics.
 
Ruka rents these and lets people shred on one slope once a week for 2 hours in the night when all other slopes are closed.

The neon model was badass, we only had the black and black and grey. Towing behind a vehicle was pretty common back then lol.
