Im thinking about getting some JJs for the next ski season but idk what size i should get. Im a 6'4 170 lb skier. I kinda want the AK JJs but im not sure if they are too big for spinning off back country kickers or cliffs and shit. Any advice would be helpful thanks!
 
What kind of bindings do you guys perfer? I have marker griffions on my el rays right now and i like them but im thinking about the STH 14s but im not sure yet

 
i would definitely recommend the STH 14 over almost any other binding (particularly marker's) for use with the JJ
 
alright thanks for the input guys. For right now im planning on getting the STH14's and ak's just needed some reinsurance .
 
get sth16's if you weigh over 160. They are so much better even if the DIN range is a little excessive.
 
I skied 175 JJ's, they were from a year or two ago, might not even be the correct size, but it was close. They felt fine though, definitely not long. I'm 5'6" and 19 so I think you could get the bigger ones.
 
Nothing. Both the STH 12 and 14 come in a z series toe as well as a driver toe. The STH 16 does not come in the Z toe and only the driver toe. General rule of thumb with Solly bindings is to avoid the Z toe.
 
Are you retarded? The AK is for charging, it is made with metal in the core. The whole point of making it was to have a long and stiff ski
 
They are indeed much more stiff then the 185s

In that note get the AKs my friend as someone that's rather close to your size I wish I could get some AKs because my 185s r just a little short
