Armada IS the BEST company ever

But why do they make skis if they know they are going to delaminate? Why don't they spend more time developing a way so they won't delam...it's not like it is impossible.

when i said every ski delaminates, i meant that that every ski can delaminate. the majority of them dont, because alot of people dont ski them as hard. but for the people that do, alot of times it is past the warranty date and there isnt much they can do. that is how they make all of their money, buy having skis last longer than the warranty period. there are a small percentage of skis that do delaminate within the warranty period, and thats not a high enough percentage for them to loose money, well not alot of it anyways. unless you have a ski like the invader, its first season had more warranties than normal because it was a new "type" of ski, it had more weaknesses. hopefully line has fixed this problem. my whole point is that the majority of skis dont delam, but the potential is there. every ski CAN delaminate.

*Before you read this, this isn't a personal attack on Armada, I am simply using them as an example. So please don't quote me telling me how good your Armadas have held up...because I'm just not interested.*

Anyways, yes, it is totally possible for every ski to delaminate...but what I don't get is, Armada is making skis for us...they aren't making skis for racing, they are making them for the newschool side of the sport. And it really hurts me to go to a mountain and see that half of the people with their skis have duct tape on the tips and tails when they are using them for what they were made for. I am in no way saying that Armada skis are the only ones that do this or the company sucks...I just think that they should go out of their way a bit more and fix that problem. It seems like the most logical way for one of the biggest newschool ski manufacturers to succeed.

Armada has to be one of the best skiis iv ever had. they are light weight, they make them in a variety of sizes, and so far they havnt delaminated at all. whenever i get a ding that reaches the wood, i just dry it off and put superglue on it. they are aso nice because they are flexible when you need them in the park and a bit stiffer for all terrain use. that guy who wrote in caps who said the skiis are cardboard is on crack. armadas skiis are more stiff than Line skiis and Line makes excelent soft skiis aswell. .GO ARMADA.

rivets look stupid and is prob the easiest most inezpensive way to PROLONG a ski from delamination. but at least they look like 9 mil shells!!!!! lame........

do they look like they've they touched a rail? i'm gonna guess the answer to this question is yes. so the answer to the original question in this case is probably not.

yeah, on one of my invaders skis the clear plastic on top peeled off of the whole tail then i cut it off so im taking it in tommorow to see if i can get it warrenteed. you think i might get new ones?

unless you slide rails way out on your tip or tail i don't see how they can claim that is rail damage.

its not just my tails though, every single tip is de-lamming, and the edges are coming out of all of them as well

i have a summer rail set up, and litterally about 2' of edge remains on my skis, that includes both of them. armada sucks.

that's a cool deal that they gave you a brand new pair of skis and all, but maybe go with a pair of skis that wont delam next time, you just got a new pair of poorly constructed skis... but props for them giving you a new pair anyway

Dude you even read the post right above you? Any ski can delaminate. I actually got a free pair of 580 dollar skis for free, which i get to use brand new at camp tomorrow and im fucking stoked. Name one ski that doesn't delam and i might buy it next time, wait sorry non exsist.

maybe u just suck at skiing, or landing one ur tails alot, when u land on ur tails ur nose smacks down and eventually delams, ist not armadas fault, theyre a solid company

That is bullshit. Skis are/should be made to stand up to being skied on. "Treating your skis" means waxing them, sharpening edges, and generally keeping them in good working order. Unless you are doing a ton of rails or skiing on rocks, there is no excuse on the company's part for a ski breaking.

my ar5s did the exact same thing, they delamed horridly. yes, amrada did send me a new pair which i was stoked on but the delam should have never happend in the first place. They broke for no apparent reason. Just because a company takes responsiblility for faulty merchandice doesnt mean that it is the best. The best company has mercandice that doesnt break.

they ride on them cuz there paid for...look at dynastar. but other than that, my friend warranteed his ar5 ang got a new pair in no time. me I waranteed my 06 mo2 and got....07 mo2.2....OWNED!!!!!! sickest ski e-v-a-h

yea the riders dont decide on skis because of quality they decide on the best contract. duh.
