Armada Hoodies: sizing and quality

I want to get a new hoodie this year FOR SKIING. I know Jiberish makes very very good quality shit but im not really digging there new line. Im thinking of getting the Armada Trippy. Im about 5'7'' 130 lbs. and i want it to be really baggy. Would an XL be too big? And also I read some older threads about armadas hoodies and it said they shrunk when washed. So does anyone know if this still happens or just the overall quality of Armada hoodies?
 
I have a hoodie from last year (the white zip up), and I'm 6'. I got XL and it's actually become small on me after the wash. It shrunk like mad. The quality is pretty good too.
 
Yeah im 6'2 and got xl last year and now its small, so this year i ordered the varsity in xxl and what do i got in the mail, a $60 xxl varsity tshirt, wtf, i called and hopefully the hoodies in the mail now but im not too sure gonna have to give em another ring soon
 
ive bought armada hoodies in past years and they have all shrunk. this year my local shop owner said that they changed the fabric or where they manufacture them or something so they wont shrink. i bought the striped in a xxl and im 6'2-6'3 and it fits good. not super baggy but fairly. i haven't washed it yet though. so i dont know how much or if it will shrink.
 
My friend had the pegasus hoody from las year or two years ago or something, and I don't remember what size it was but for how baggy it was and how long the sleeves were, the waist didn't go down nearly far enough to be proportionate. I felt like I was wearing a belly shirt.
 
if you want it really baggy for skiing you could go XXL probably.

Last year i got one(large) and i was 5'6-ish and now im taller and it shrunk and its small now.

wondering if anyone has experience with THIS YEAR'S stuff and how much it shrinks? i'm specifically looking at the armada stripe hoodie.
 
shit shrinks like a bitch but good quality otherwise. materials still feel good and look good after 2 years of wear.
if you would normally get a large, i would reccomend getting an xl.

but the guy who sent me the stuff must have been shit-faced,

because he sent me 5 the same billboards and also 5 same bandanas..

haha, so i get from each of those 4 for FREE, wooohooo

okay so never mind the sizing, theres a fading issues with the dye this year, I got the savage and the stripe, both in one wash had really bad fade streaks, like the dye washed right out of them . I washed them alone, gentle cycle, cold water like i wash all my other hoodies too!
 
Damn that sucks, i finally got my purple varsity hoodie in the mail today after over a month of bullshit and waiting for it, at xxl it fits me good at 6' 3 i hope it doesn't shrink or fade, i doubt i'll be ordering hoodies from them again
 
armada clothing shrinks like a mother fucker. all my hoodies or t shirts from them have always shrunk to an unwearable size. all my tshirts have become muscle shirts and my hoodies are just as small
 
I bought a armada savage hoodie, im 5'7'' and around 130 so pretty much like you. I got an XL and i washed it and i guess it shrunk a bit but its still under my ass. BUT after i washed it the black uncolored, its more of a greyish black wich sucks and the seams are like loosing up after 1 week of use. In other words, it's a sick hoodie but you can't wash it and don't be rough at all with it. And by the way me and my brother both had armadas and they chip like bitches and break easily. For me armada= shit but that's just my experience. Last time I buy anything from armada, i mean come on i payd 80 bucks for a hoodie who lost his color after the first wash!
 
i got an armada hoody last year(the royalty) it fit well not really baggy. it was a medium and i didnt notice it shrink in the wash.
