trying to decide on these

im 5'5 158lbs 14 years old and have 2 seasons of park and all mountain skiing, i do about 70% park 30% rest of the mountain, live on the east coast and dont do alot of pow, very rarely i will though.

just looking for some inputs on past expierences, whats the best for durability, not worried about prices though.

the el rays sound perfect for u, the only reason i dont recommend mastermind is there a flexy ski and for a 150 pound person planning on doing some all mountain riding on them they just may be too soft to do well on groomers.

go with el ray!
 
well considering you are 150lbs, the mastermind might be soft and the el rays are pretty good for an all around, the volkl ledge is sort of soft but not as much as the mastermind. The ledge is probably the most advanced park ski but the el ray is the best all around, the mastermind is sick but you gotta love a really soft ski to get it.
 
the el reys are sick i have them from 08 and they are amazingly durable. i have mine mounted at ski center and they ride the mountain great, and nice in the park, super light mine have all cap contrustion and it held up super great no edge cracks or rip outs, one whole in my base from getting cought on a small cliff, you can not go wrong with this ski.
 
you know, while they are a fun ski, ive never found k2 too be super durable, i mean with the top sheets ripping off and the sidewalls/edges getting shredded but you know, the domains did a pretty good job based on my view of the company
 
yeah im talking about k2, i mean i stopped riding k2s and got better skis but ive only demoed domains but when i had extremes they got to look like they had 5 seasons put through em only after one
 
i will admit they do suffer cosmetic damage fairly easily but who cares how a ski looks at long as there are no edge ripouts or core shots and it still preforms
 
I just picked up some domains and i ride pretty much the same % as you and i love mine i would seriously recomend those
 
imo if your are going to get vokl you need to spend the extra dough and get the walls they are an amazing ski.
