Armada El Rey VS. Line Afterbang

I am deciding on witch park ski that i will be using this winter and i need your help!! Both of these skis are very cool and promising but im not totally convinced that i should get iether of them. I will be hitting rails and decent size jumps all winter long! So there are several factors to consider :

Durability

Swing weight

Flex

Price

Turning radius

Dimensions

Construction

Style

These are all i could think of for different factors that affect a ski and a skier, tell me what you think!

Well they're very different skis so its hard to decipher between the two, but I have skied both (2010 A-bangs & 2009 El Reys, I dont imagine they've changed much since) & I would personally say the El Reys, but thats just a personal preference. The El Reys feel lighter underfoot, stiffer obviously, and have great all mtn performance. The A-Bang would be a better choice for a park specific, jib all day type of ski though. If your looking for a more park specific ski similar to the dimensions to the El Reys look at the AR7 or THall

This.

Op saw sum of your threads earlier. If your looking for a ski just for the single aspect of park I'd go afterbangs. If you want something a little out of the park as well go El Reys. El Reys will be a little stiffer but I know people who like that aspect cause they hit mostly jumps. Afterbang will have more flex. The durability is around the same I'd say. Maybe Armada has the edge.

Either way those two skis would be great for a entry level park skier but for someone who knows how to ski already.

Another thing if you got time for OP is the demo days at Wild mountain. All the big name brands will be there Including Armada and Line. Maybe try some skis out to see what you like. This year it's on November 17. Here's a link.

There is about 20 different skis that are better in every single way ... U should definetly be looking at other skis

dont get afterbangs if you intend on using the ski for more than ONE season... el reys last way longer, but dont do as well on rails. el reys are way better for larger jumps too, once you go bigger than 20 ft jumps on a_bangs things get pretty terrifying. i own both, 2012 a-bangs and 2013 el reys.
