Armada El Rey vs> K2 Recoil

I have finally narrowed it down between two skis, the El Rey and K2 Recoil. I am a beginner in park/pipe. I have been skiing for quite sometime now and as far as mountains go i can do like all blacks and ive even been out to Colorado, breck and copper, and i can handle the blues and some easy blacks. But ive been doing mountain for so long im bored and im really into freestyle now. I am 6'0 and weight about 195 lbs. Ive been doing a lot of research and this is what i have narrowed it down to. I basically want a good all mountain ski, like 60-70% park 40-30% mountain, that i can get some good years out of for a reasonable price." And atm I cannot side between the k2 recoil or the armada El Rey. If you have ever had any experience with these skis please tell me what you think. Thanks +kkkk

Yeah El Rey's are more of a price point ski, recoils are burly and will most likely have a way better ride.

i would say recoils there a stronger ski from what ive heard and are a great all mountain/park ski with the all mountain rocker and 90mm under foot that means it can handle better in a little bit of fresh or chopped up snow

I have recoils and they are pretty bomber, I got them at the beginning of the season and they have barely any topsheet wear, the bases are super durable, and the only edge damage I have is from a stupid fall on stairs while hitting urban.

Good park ski, and they can hold their own decently all over the mountain. They aren't light though, buts its a bit of tradeoff for the added durability.

yeah i was afraid they would be too heavy...I mean ive heard they kill it in the park so they cant be THAT heavy right? Or something at least you just gotta get used to.

They are like a medium flex I would say, at your weight you will be able to butter them most likely,

I skid the el rey last year and i loved it. it was in the spring with varied conditions and they performed amazing. I would recommend them for a few reasons: This years graphic is sick,

they arent expensive for what you get.

they have a great carve for a twin tip ski

Im getting them this year for these reasons,

They are probably the best skis I have ever skid.

I havent used the recoils though so I cant compare the two but I would thuroughly recommend the el rey.
