i need a new pair of skis becuase the ones i was using for this year broke and so now a need a new pair pretty quickly and i was thinking either the El Rey or ARV

I do park almost half time becuase the ski conditions havent been great this year but i also want to be able to float on the powder pretty well and the ski needs to carve well also.

I am 5'9" and weigh 135 lbs. i also want a ski that will be somewhat affordable.

I have the 08-09 El Reys, i dont know how diffrent the 09-10' ones are, but anyways they are a great all mtn ski, i have mine mounted -2, their very light, carve well and can shred the park. Pretty durable from what ive seen too. The Arv's would probably be better for Pow, but the El Reys hold thier ownfor having an 87-88mm waist. I guess it depends on what you like to ski.

ARV = excellent one ski quiver, good on jumps, not great on rails, ok with boxes, pretty good on groomers, and great in pow.

i think im going to start doin more park and from the Armada website the El Rey is cheaper so i think its the ski i should get

The el rey can definetly do it in park, but if you want a flexy buttery ski, then go with the AR6, El Reys are kinda stiff, more of an all mtn flex.
