Armada El Rey 2014 - Centre mounting Problems?

Just purchased a pair of El Reys, thinking that they'd be a great ski for all mountain/park. I ski about 70% park and 30% all mountain but wanted something that could cater for both. Currently on my Afterbangs I have the marker squire schizo bindings (you know the ones that let you switch from all mountain to park without remounting your skis) and I was hoping on putting those on my new Armada's. Looking at the skis and the "recommended factory midsole" point on the skis I'm curious if i will still be able to ride these skis centre mounted or will i have to ride them further back seeing as the recommended mounting point is set back about 2 inches from the dead centre. I'm also worried about the durability of these ski's, I'm an intermediate park rider. Will these ski's hold up?

Below is a photo showing the ski's and the recommended mounting points are indicated with the yellow lines.

K + for any advice

I'm not quite sure what you are asking. You can center mount any ski. It does not mean it will ski well centered but you can do it. On an asymmetrical ski like you have the best mount point will be slightly back from center. You can still mount forward of here and if you are using a schitzo you can move the binding any way.

As as for the ski it's armadas price point ski so it's not going to be the most hard wearing. But they are cheap so if you do blow them up at least they don't cost to much to replace. I think they ski really well thigh so enjoy them

yeah sorry i didn't make it clear, I just want the ski to be centre mounted like my last ones and I was a bit unsure about the mounting but you've cleared that up. I'm not a super aggressive park skier yet. I hope they hold up.

those lines are showing the recommended mount point, which is at the middle of the sidecut. it will only be true center for a symmetrical ski. also armada is notorious for the lines on the topsheet being a little off due to minor changes in exactly how the topsheet is put on during layup. just mount them where ever you want, but they wont perform as well at center as they will a little back
