Armada Edollos

Been thinking about buying and wondering how they ride. My main focus is park but I like to just cruise now and then. Never skied on armadas of any model so any insight on the model or their overall lineup helps.

I loved my edollos. I personally only ride Armada skis. They make a very fun and badass ski no matter which one u get. But for an all around fun park ski the edollo is a blast. I highly recommend it.

How is the durability

They were quite durable honestly. I put them through some pretty hard days of park riding and they held up very nicely. Definitely worth the money IMO.

The edollo is an unchanged version of the original armada al dente. If you give the search bar a go you'll find heaps of stuff on them.

I have the ARVti (stiffer version of the edollo) and I love them. Mounted at -2.5 they're a blast all over the mountain. I just wish they were more playful (aka I'm regretting not getting the edollo instead).

i luv them supper fun ski. they kick ass in the slush. i thought they'd be softer they hold up so good on jumps tho ,not bad in pow either . not the best durability im on my second pair this year

I love my aldente zeros! Super fun in the park and kill it all over the mountain. Super impressed on how stable they are considering how soft they are!

Durability wise they're weird. The edges are holding up insanely well. Have 30+ of park riding on them and no edge cracks. The topsheets are bullet proof, only one small nick from falling into a rail. I have been having serious delamination issues though. Both of my tips split open causing me to rivet the tips shut. Underneath the binding on the one ski, the topsheet is separating from the sidewall. I have used epoxy to seal the gap, but due to park riding, I cannot shut the gap.

Don't get me wrong, these skis are probably the most bombproof park skis I have had. super fun to ride and i would hands down buy another pair.

Just sharing what i have experienced.

This this this.

Edges are out of this world durability wise, 50+ days of pure rails and not one single edge crack. Thought I were unlucky on getting a split in one of the tips and picked up a new pair over warranty (super sick to pick up a new pair, and the store were super nice). Even got a pair of 2017 even though I had the 2016's.

However, after only 4days I encountered the exact same delamination in one of the tips.

The store I bought them from and Armada wants to review them before telling me if I'll get a new pair (again). It sucks tho, since then I'll have to ship them to the store and wait for Armada to give an answer. Since I only have one pair of park skis that will leave me off snow and I'll probably have to pay for a remount.

TL;DR: Super fun ski with great edges and serious delamination issues. Armada is handling it well tho.
