it says the 09 ar6 has a 2.5 impact edge. is this like doulble thick like line skis or just bigger teeth to hold on and prevent edge tear out??any other brands have double thick edeges??i need something durable on rails but rocks everything else as well

Normal thickness of an edge is around 2.5mm whereas the K2 Factory Team skis’ use a 3.5 mm edge to withstand the addedabuse. This thicker edge is more resistant to cracking and grinding for a moredurable ski. And we have been doing that since 2001, when we created the first PE.EndFragment

no that answered part of the question not if armadas edges were extra thick.. 2.5 could simply mean like version 2.5 thanks for your input but the whole question has yet been answeredanyone have armadas? any one know if they are actually thicker

nope check the site. Armada uses 2.5 edges for the park skis and 1.7 for pow skis too save on weight.

so does this just mean there pow skis have an extra thin edge and there park skis are normal? if so then armada just lost my respect

well 2.5 edges would mean 6.25mm or 0.625cm and i'm pretty sure their edges are not over a half cm thick

yeah i think armada uses regular but uses extra on park skis i dunno anyone else know and where did that other guy com up ewith his numbers"??

chill its just to save weight. if you buy ARGs JJs or ANTs to hit loads of rails then your making a mistake.

i'm pretty armadas park skis have the regular sized edges like most companies. just line and k2 have thicker ones
