Armada Arv

Does anyone ride the arv's? If so how well do they hold up and would you recommend them. I ski 95% park and wanna know if theyd be good to use

I've rode them before, they aren't bad but there are def a lot more fun skis out there.

You could look at the ar7's, halos, or t-halls for more park oriented skis by armada.

i ride ARV's love them, they are okay in the park but id go for the ar7's or halos if you ride 95% park

If you ski that much park then get the AR7s or T-Halls. I've owned both and they both kill it and last forever. T-Hall is strictly a park ski though while the AR7 can still shred the rest of the mountain

The ar7, thall, and halo are completely different from the arv. The arv is a super soft ski. It's also an all mountain ski, but you can center mount them and rock them in the park. If you want soft and playful, get the arv. If you want a stiff charger, get the ar7. Two very different skis.

I own ARVs as well as the predecessor to the AR7 (AR6s). Personally the ARV is one of my favorite skis ever- mine are 95 underfoot so they can still ski pow, rip groomers, but aren't so big you can't hit rails and whatnot on them. Super soft and just really easy to toss around. It's the ski I always reach for when I'm not really sure what conditions are gonna be because I know it can handle everything.

AR6s (and I'm sure the AR7) can also go everywhere on the mtn but are better in the park, esp on rails. Much stiffer ski than the ARV so if you love butters that's something to keep in mind.

All that being said, if you're skiing 95% park there are probably a couple other skis in the Armada line that would better suit you than the ARV. Maybe give the Halo's a look as well.

I also ride ARVs and everyone who's posted so far has said what I would say on the subject. I love mine to death and even riding more park I wouldn't trade them for AR7s or more "park-oriented" skis.

On a side note, cassabon, harlaut, and perron ride the ARV alot so that says something about it's softness and how that can be applied to the park.

True, but the fact that it suits their needs is a plus. And honestly people always overlook the ARV, but for some reason it has the softest nose of any of their skis, except MAYBE the Thall.
