Armada ARV?

newb question from a newb member...Anyone have bigger ARVs (like 185) center mounted? If so, how do they perform? Have them +3 from recommended but there is still soo much ski in front...any help would be extremely cool
 
I wouldn't center mount non-symmetrical skis. They just straight up won't feel good. 1-2 cm back from true center is much better.
 
agreed having them back aways is going to make them ride way better and im pretty sure you aren't riding your ARVs switch 80% of the time.
 
Yea i originally mounted my 185cm ARVs @ +3cm from recommended and felt the same way ... Remounted @ +6cm which is effectively -1cm from true center and i love em there!

But yea, i would be reluctant to go DEAD NUTZ center on this particular ski given the midsole is 7cm back ...

 
hey ive got arvs mounted at reccomended place by armada. They ski great forward and no complaints switch. I would mount them where they were meant to mounted, or else your be fighting the skis natural geometry
