Armada ARV?

First of all, yes I've searched.

Second, I'm most likely picking these up tomorrow in a 175. I'm 5'9" and 155 lbs. How do they hold up in the park, on rails, etc? Also how do they hold up outside of the park?

I live in Oregon, ski Hood, and really don't know what to do, or if I should go with a different ski.

i am about the same size as you and got the 185's. i mostly use them for powder and all mountain and when i use them in the park they are fine. 175's should be good for park. really light weight for their size aswell.

Ive heard from quite a few techs that the ARV's are pretty usless this year. They are so soft, so they will work as a wide park ski i guess. Theyre just too soft to charge on apparently. I've not skied them though and its personal preference that counts. Hope you like them.

ive got 175's centermounted and they are super soft and fun, it would ruin it if they were stiffer.

i havent ridden em yet but i wish i could, but i thought the ARV's were more of an all mountain ski and not strict-park

i guess you already have them but they are pretty sweet in and out of the park... very soft ski

I have ARVs from a year or two ago (the yellow and black one's) in 175 and they are a good size for me. I'm 5'7 and 115 lb's, so you may be stoked on one size up.

i'm a little over 6'1'' about 158lbs and i'm planning on getting avr's in 185 next year for powder/groomers/park

i have them, and have used them mainly for big mountain/powder.

I find them a bit heavy for park use, especially compared to my PE's.

If u are riding mostly park i would go with an AR5 instead.

super sik in pow, holds on the groomers, slides nice, spins easy, super fun switch

I am 6', 160 lbs and I have the '05 185 ARV's and they work great for park and pow. They are not as lightweight and agile as a park ski would be but it is worth it if you ski out of the park also and if this will be your only ski.

theyll be awsome i tried my friends and had a blast but there meant like 70% mountaun and 30% park so if u do lots of park get the Ar5s with the chicks on them

wrong, they're not too soft to charge on (at least for me), mine work great at breakneck speeds.
