Armada arv 96s

so i’m looking for a new set of planks and i was looking at the arv 96s bc i like wider skis. i’m about 6’1 170 lbs so i was leaning towards the 184s. i ride about 40/60 park/all mtn but i want to get better in the park and ski park more which is why i’m looking for a park ski. it’s not my only ski i have a pair of hellbents that i use for everything else i just like wider more playful skis. should i go with the 184s? what do u guys who have skied the arv 96s think of them
 
I’m getting my first pair of ARV 96s soon and I did a lot of research on them and all I hear is that they’re everyone’s favorite ski they’ve ridden
 
A1 username OP, love it. Also, it’s a great ski that serves a lot of people’s needs because of the great mix of stability and playfulness. When you say you ski park, are you more of a rail skier or a jump skier? Do you like to ski fast and hard or do you like to swerve and butter and press around?
 
Can’t really go wrong with them honestly. Haven’t had any of the newer models but I’ve had arv’s from like 2012 and also edollos and I loved them both. They really are a great all around ski, and 184 seems like it would be a good size for you, I’m 6 foot ~180ish and that’s for sure what I’d go with myself.

lol thanks, picked up myself a pair of arv 96s today finally. i definitely ski more rails than jumps. i like to ski fast but i also like to do butters and i’ve had softer skis in the past but i think i’ll like the stiffer flex of the arv 96s. from what i’ve heard they’re not too stiff. overall i think i’ll love them and i can’t wait to ski them

Definitely stiff enough to be stable but also playful enough to butter for sure. Have fun man they’re good skis
