Armada arv 84 - 86

Does anyone have experience with these skis? Hows the durability, flex, weight, stability, etc.? I'm getting skis soon and have the most frequently recommended skis were blends and arv 86, and I havnt heard much about the arvs.

Two totally different skis. The blend is a wide and soft jib ski, while the arv 86 is much narrower and more stout. If you ski slower and want to mostly do butters and hit rails go for the blends, if you want something that’s gonna feel quick and strong for bigger jumps and tricks go arv 86. Armada durability blows line out of the water. As for the arv 84, that’s a kids ski, so if your a grom and not trying to max out your parents budget, that’s your best bet.

Oh also the arv 96 but I know more about that ski. I'm thinking between the arv 96 and blends, and I am not really sure of I want soft or not soft. I'm leaning towards the arv 96 because you cant go wrong with that ski apparently

I would go arv 96 based on durability and versatility. Line makes really fun playful skis, but the shelf life on them is terrible. I’ve owned the arv86 and the 106, and both of them have been very good. I’m sure the 96 is a great park oriented ski that might not be as playful as the blend, but will do much better for everything else, especially if your gonna be hitting jumps and skiing outside of the park.

I ski 86’s from a few years ago. They are the sickest skies for park-all mountain. Durable, stable at high speeds, great for going big, thick edges for rails, and dope graphic.

What about the arv 106? I want something buttery and stable and raile and stuff, but it might be kind of bulky for me because I'm small (5'10 120 pounds)

I’ve never skied them. I think they have the same flex pattern just a little more all mountain rocker-camber-sidecut profile. Would be a sick one ski quiver.

I'm just gonna go to a shop and really look at all the skis and all that, but I'm probably going to get arv 96s because I feel like that's the safest option
