Armada ar7

was up guys.... im 5'3, and like 135 pounds, if I were to get the ar7, which size? im 14 so they would have to last a couple seasons. im mostly looking at the 161 or 166, but if you guys think thats too short just tell me

161. You're 160 centimeters tall and 166 would be too far above your head, whereas the 161 would be perfect for your height.

OP whats your ability? If you can ski well I say buy bigger.

166 for Ar7 and 172 for SFB. Your at the age where you could shoot up like a rocket in size, so going bigger might be a better option in the long run.

If you can ski well the size wont make much difference. Also the you should get the 172 for powder ski for sure cause it's a rockerd ski for powder. Always size bigger in Pow skis.

For bindings I'd put Axial 120 on the AR7. Shop around if you want a different color.

On the SFB you could go Salomon STH Driver 12. Or go Axial 120 again. The driver has more metal so more expensive but higher durability.

no need to spend more than $400 this year. Thanks to last years total lack of snow in the Lower 48, powder skis from last year are dirt cheap.

EX:

$360 for Salomon Czar (usually a $500 for last years) 174 for your size

$390 for Rossignol Sickle (usually also Around $500 for last years) 174 your size.

$500 for Volkl Shiro 173. Heard it's a killer pow ski.

You might need to look around but there are awesome last year deals going on. Comes down to what you want, Directional or do you wanna ride switch in the pow. Here's a list of places to look.
