Armada ar6 or Volkl Bridges at Crested Butte

Hey everyone

I'm gonna buy a new pair of skis for the winter and i'm torn between the thinner waist ar6's and the wider waist bridges. I mostly ski in Australia on shit snow but i'm doing a season at Crested Butte at the end of this year.

I want a twin tip that can do everything all over the mountain, kill it on a powder day and be able to hit the park about 20% of the time.

What does everyone think?

AR6 is basically strictly a park ski, so if I were you I would go with the Bridge! my friend loves his pair and I'm sure you will the same. I'm sure the bridge will kill it in the park too.

If you skied more park i would recommend the AR6 but you ski only 20% park, you should definitely go with the Bridges.

I'm leaning towards the bridges but feel free to reccommend any other skis that will work for me. It just can't be Head i can;t get any of them.

Just found out that the 09 bridges come in a 179 which is a much better size so i'm definetly getting them

cheers for the help

You should mabey look into some Rossignol Brigades (next year's are called the S5 I believe.) 98mm waist, fairly stiff. One of my buddies skied them this past season and loved them, they were his one-ski-quiver. A great all mountain twin, and great in the park too.
