I placed my binds on the mark that recommended factory (-5), because
the man at the workshop said that it is right, because factory recommended. is but i doubting now. is it comfortable for new school? i saw that many people place binds on the center.
1st think u should do is chk the ski. Get a tape measure and measure either under the base or from tip to tip and find what true center is. Then chk where the 'mount line' Armada put on the topsheet. the ski. It may have been center or it may have been backset. The Armada mark may have been center mount.
1-2 cm back from true center is great for park pipe & all mtn. 4-5 cm back is more of a all mtn carve ski on the AR6 - 5 cm back may even be too far back if it is a short ski. There is the natural carving arc to consider and the lenght of a large ski boot shell and the size / length of the binding heel piece track.
2006 / 2007 AR6’s. The mark (line) on the Armada AR6 topsheet was supposed to be exactly on center of ski . Figure out what u have.
below is OLD info from the old Armada Bio's
Thomas James (TJ) Schiller when he was on Armadas
AR6 180 - finger back from C.
JP Auclair
-Pipe Cleaner: 2 to 3 cms back from the actual center of the ski.
Tanner Hall· THall: 2cm back from center
· PC: 2 cm back from center
Julien Regnier· THALL between dead centre to 3 cm back depending on my mood.
the length of my armada is 181cm. fuck, fuck!( i kill this man at workshop!
i doubted with him two times and he said that i wrong! ok, i'll test later my new ski and then do results. if it will be not so comfortable, i should remount binds.
