I was thinking about getting these. does anyone have any opions on them? What about them vs the scratch fs?

Over 2500 left handed people a year are killed from using products made for right handed people.

AR5's definitely chip WAYYYY more than scratch's. Doesn't really matter though, its just cosmetic. Definitely get AR5's over Scratches though

 
Scratch fs is the way to go, yes, the topsheet chips a bit, but next to bullet proof on rails.

well ive got t halls which are almost the same ski... there pretty fuckin rad, amazing in the park and on rails.. lots of pop.. only complaint is that they chip sorta easily so if your worried about your skis looking 100% all of the time you shouldnt be one to buy these

Construction of the skis is totaly different! AR5's are made to last. With a wood core that was built to take the hits from the rails and with Carbin fiber stringer in the tail of the ski to stiffing it up for pop. Where the Scratch is made for the price. They wanted a ski that that would come in at a lower price point so the scratchs are made a lot more cheaply. I would get the Ar5's any day over the scratchs, you will get what you pay for. I saw last week at the sia show next years Armada's and let me tell you they steped up the ski even more and the graphics ROCK!

 
i dont know about burley edges on ar5s, im seriously missing 18 total inches of edge on my ar5s, but they still are an excellent ski

scratches are also a great ski. ive never had chipping problems riding them, adn they are great for all, but i do like the ar5s more
