Armada and atomic

Nay, They were made in the elan factory in like yugoslavia the first year with left over material from elan skis. They are sick as hell now
 
actually Atomic makes the AR5 (or is it the ARV can't remember) and the ANT thus being why those are the two best skis they make, the rest of the line is made by Elan
 
1. They were made in Quebec. They aren't anymore.

2. Armada skis are made using other companies' presses. This is not the same thing as saying "Atomic/Elan makes Armada skis".

3. You can tell which factory they were made in by looking at where the serial number is. If it's at the tails it's made at Atomic. If I remember right, that is.
 
I stayed right nextdoor to the Atomic factory in Austria last week!

welll atomic skis are very well made and so are ellan so thats a good thing either way and thast all that matters
 
one day i was skiing park on my jp vs juliens (because my other park skis were defunct) and so im not skiing that hard and my heel piece ripped out. sooo now i dont have any skis to ski on, but it was a good day. luckily there was a private atomic demo that day, so i went to them. earlier in the day i went there to eat some of their food, and this guy was giving me partial shit (notice partial) about how i rode armadas, and so on and stuff. when i went there to see if i could demo, the same dude was getting all stoked and shit in front of us. he was all gloating about how atomic makes armada skis, and how my skis were evidently atomics. he felt special.

two questions

1) my bindings just ripped out of a supposed atomic. not something to gloat about right in front of me.

2) jps are a dope ski. why wouldnt atomic make a dope ski like that?

armadas were originally made in que, then after the first model they changed it so that their skis were pressed by elan in slovenia, and for this year armadas big mountain skis are made by atomic
 
^^ I Don't think the JP Julien is being pressed at the atomic factory and even if it is the bindings ripping out isn't an atomic issuce it's a material or design issue with Armada's construction. As said before Atomic isn't designing the skis they're just pressing them, the skis are still done to the specs of Armada, not Atomic.

And Yes the JP Julien is a sick ski, but lets be honest, look around these days, there' are so many sick skis out there it's insane.
 
sry, i didnt read the thread, but here's what i heard.

some of the skis are made at atomic factory in austria and some at elan's factory slovenia. but armada is just using their presses and you cant say that atomic or elan are making their skis. Its just the same as saying 4frnt skis are made by option(i beleive) smowboards.
 
i owned a pair of arm-x last year and they are done... They used to be made by quantum snowboads in quebec and were just the same ski as the original ar5 but with different sidewall material.

I doubt you can find any more of those arm-x anywhere. I got mine off ebay for like 200canadian... But basically, qunatum snowboards were just getting rid of them. I heard some guy went to their factory and got a pair for like 100$.
 
they came in different colour fariations - white, blue, red, black...
