I see all of armadas team using both these skis and am really puzzled on which is the better ski. I'm confident I'm getting armadas next year, but they have so many park/pipe skis to choose from. Please help K+.

alpha 2 is the more jib oriented version of the alpha 1

think alpha 2 = ar6

alpha 1 = pipecleaner

the thalls have softer noses for buttering and a little bit stiffer tails for landings, more of a softer jib ski that can hit jumps

O no. Not even as noodly as the invader. Before the 09 ski (the black top sheet with lion) they were soo buttery almost like the invader. But this year they made it stiffer so you can still hit jumps and after a season it hasnt completely noodled out. Its basically the ar6 except the tails are stiffer on the ar6 and the nose is stiffer on the t-halls. over all the best ski EVER!!!! i couldnt be more happier to have the t-halls. the new butterzone construction makes it goddamn fun!

ive heard that whole thing ar6=alpha 2..... but really what is the pro/cons of having an elf shoe tech ski

i didnt mean it as the alpha 2 is the SAME as the ar6 (except with rocker and elf shoe) what i meant it in comparison like the alpha 1 is stiffer than the alpha 2 just like the pipe cleaner is stiffer than the ar6. if that makes sense.

yes and i didnt mean to answer it like that i mean i get that whole comparrison but what is the advantage or disadvantage of having a elf shoe tech ski?

I'm probably going to buy either next year's Alpha 2 (halo) or the T-HALLs. I ski mostly park and the biggest jump at my mountain is at most 60 feet. I weigh around 140 and around 5'5" to 5'6".
