Armada Al Dente vs Faction CT 2.0

Hey guys,

Im looking for a new pair of skis to replace my 5 year old Armadas.

I'm about 178cm (5.8ft) tall and weigh around 78kg.

I'll use them in the park a lot but also to bounce around the whole mountain and enjoy some pow lines whenever I get the chance to.

The skis im looking at at the moment are the "Armada Al Dente Zero" and the "Faction CT 2.0".

Can anyone give me some advice on these? There are some reviews of the CT 2.0 but not that many on the Al Dente/EDollo.

Are there better options for me that have a waist width of about 100mm?

Thanks for you help,

Well, idk if they're much different, but i had the 2016 faction 3.0 and they snapped after 5 days of riding.

Out of nowhere or did you go to hard on them?
i ski pretty hard but they broke super easily. I basically hit a wind lip that was pretty steep and they snapped. I hit the same windlip on my k2s earlier that week and theyre were fine. Even if i was skiing SUPER hard on them, they shouldn't snap in 5 fuckin days; especially since they're like $1000 skis.

I'd say that if you can find them new, pick up a pair of k2 shreditor 102s. I had a pair and they were bombproof and fun. Either that or you can get a pair of ON3P Kartel 98s. People seem to LOVE those.

That sucks!

The ON3P really look sick but i live in switzerland and i think its pretty hard to get them here.

Do the Al Dentes/Edollos suck or why are there so few reviews? I had the feeling that if Henrik rides them a lot of people would give them a try.

I don't know what it is but it seems that a lot of the 15/16 edollos and al dente have had a lot of delam issues. Everyone that still rides theres has had a delam problem, one is on his 6th pair this season. It seems that its been an issue a lot on those particular models since they moved to SLC. Idk whats the deal, but they are still sick skis and they all have been able to get a warranty. They are still a blast to ride though, got on a pair yesterday
