Armada AK JJ / JJ ?

Essentially I'm looking to buy my first powder ski and have been looking at the AK JJ and the JJ as someone's suggested for me to have a look at these.

I'm 6'2. 165 LBS, so I'm wandering whether to go for the 195 or 185, 195 is a 120 waist and the 185 is a 115 waist. Longest + widest ski i've skiied to date is a 181 chronic which has an 85 waist and I've never really skiied pow properly before apart from little bits and bobs on the side of pistes on powder days as I'm a Brit and have only been on week holidays but am off for a season in France this year.

If you've got any other suggestions of skis it would be appreciated, or any first hand experiences with the AK JJ.
 
For pow only, the new Armada Bubba is a sure bet. Also look at Atomic Bentchetler and Line Opus. There are many skis to suit your needs and size. I'm sure others will add their vote too.
 
ak will be way more powerful and stable and high speeds, but it will be bigger in tight trees that the 185. the ak will also be slightly heavier. pick the one that suits your ski style.

maybe look at a 190 magic j for something in between.
 
Cheers for the feedback guys. had a look at the opus and it looks like it's more geared towards throwing town 5's off cliffs and such which I shan't be doing this season I don't think ! hahaha.

You know if there's any difference between the 2012 Ak and the 2013 Ak other than graphics?
