Armada 2021 Bdog Sizing

I have recently been wanting to purchase a new setup for the oncoming season, and I was looking at the Bdogs and wondering if anybody can help me with the sizing?

Im 5,9, 140 Pounds, and planning on getting them center mounted…

Would 172 work?
 
172 would work but I say get 180. Armada cuts 2cm short so 172 is really more like 170 and 180 is more like 178. You are 5’9” which is around 175. You will appreciate the extra length if you are trying butters and stuff.

I'm 6'1 as well and have been riding the BDog's all spring and summer and lovin them. Ik homies my size that love the edgeless too. Usually like skiing 184 but the 180 doesn't feel too short
 
to reply to ur thread tho get the 180, 172 honestly feels more like a "big kids" ski. you'll appreciate the extra length with the flex pattern
 
Bruh don’t tempt me. I usually am on 184’s/188’s but didn’t want to look like a clown with kid skis

I promise you the only ones who will notice are 13 year olds on Vishnu’s.

Depends on what you're doing. If you like to do tech stuff on rails, lower speed jibbing or you are new to park skiing you might have more fun on the 172s. If you like skiing fast, going big, these will be your only skis and/or you will be skiing some powder with them, the 180 is the move.
 
That’s what I’m afraid of. Those kids are already smoking hand rolled cigarettes and drive a 2003 Subaru wagon before 8th grade. I can’t handle that kinda emotional abuse

Nah get whatever fits you best, don't worry about what size is cool and shred, that's what's real cool. If you have skis too long for you and can't maneuver them, you'll actually look like a clown

If you’re 5 9 your skis will most certainly not be too long for you if they’re 180 lol

I tend to agree with you and I'd personally size up, but he's also not asking about a stiff hard charger, we're talking about the Bdog here, a low speed soft jib ski, my point is if he thinks he'll progress faster and will be more comfortable spinning on a shorter skis he shouldn't feel pressured to get a ski taller than him you know, to answer his questions 172 technically works for him if that what he prefers. ?‍♂️
 
im 5'8.5" 170lbs and just got the 180s. Looking foward to this season, they look the perfect size for me. Get the 180s. 178cm straight tape-ish.
