arm-x skis?

I just got a pair of the 'BC' model.

After talking to some people and doing a side by side comparison. I can confirm that these ARE Armada ARV's with a different topsheet.

For $200 (what I paid), they are a steal.

The Arm-x people dont speak very good english (french canadian), but they have great service (shipped my skis overnight after a problem with customs)

 
Their site doesn't make any sense, though. No checkout button, no phone number that I can see... wierd. Anyways, if they ARE Armadas, how is it that they're in 158, 169, 175 and 179, when Ar5s came in none of those lengths? Not that I doubt, it just confuses me.

Mine are '173' but they are the same length as the 175 ARV- go figure. I cant garuntee that their other model is the Ar5- havent seen the other model in person.

^I sort of suspected that they just reported the sizes differently. Wonder who's mismeasuring... ah well, I paid practically nothing for my Ar5s, so whatever. What do the park twin retail at if the ARV clones are 200, though?

I got mine off ebay- I only ordered them by phone because I was given a second chance offer that I missed the time limit on- so I dont know what they are selling em for. I guess the only way is to call em up.

On ebay, they were going for about $175 CDN

 
Well, in that case, I'll take their entire stock, reprint '5frnt' on all the topsheets, and sell them.

yea ive got the black and green model...i almost bought the mountain model but i prefered to by 175 insted of 173...i payed them 250can.

 
Thats a good deal... only i think they have the previous years topsheet. Id highly suggest getting something else if you let your skis touch each other.
