Well i am here debating a powder ski again.

It is between Armada ARG's and Surface New Life's

Im primarally looking for a powder ski that can handle what i like; big drops, chutes, trees

I am concerned that the New Life's are too skinny to be a deep powder ski.

What skis are best for what Im looking for? Personal preferenes?

THANKYOU MUCH!

I think the One Life is a little more of a pow ski with jib emphasis.

Where as the New Life is a more emphasis on just pow.

Isn't this right?

One life is the 3 stage rocker and less of a pure pow ski and more of a all mountain pow ski in my opinion. (I would say its in the same category as the JJ) The New life is symmetrical and fatter and a decent ski for backcountry jibbing from what I hear (never been on them). I have been on the Args and the One Life and liked them both. I prefer Args because I have had them for so long and love the way they ride. Not to heavy, stiff, float well, able to charge steep lines and cliffs but also able to dump speed quick and get into trees. They lack on groomers and bumps but are pretty solid everywhere else and shine in the backcountry. If you have park/all mountain skis then I would recommend Args. If you are not big on hiking or you are looking for a more resort oriented ski look at the new life and the one life and maybe the JJs or on3p skis. There are a lot of choices out there.

ya thats basically how i would describe them. it kinda depends what you want, the one lifes are much more nimble and manuverable imo, the one lifes will charge fine but the new life feels stable. those skis will take you anywhere. if you like to ski faster i say new life, or if your more into tighter, tree skiing turns i would say one lifes.
