i mean to do a dub rodeo, you really cant carve or stagger the take off, that would be so much harder. soft takeoffs are harder to slide but the styliest sw takeofs are usually slid unlis its a short rotation like a sw1 or sw3
are you trying to say he doesn't carve his dubs? cause yeah you are correct when people do smaller switch tricks they carve like collin collins he carves the shit out of switch tricks and it looks fucking balla
dude carving dub rodeos is much harder than sliding them. this guy "washed out" on his last two jumps as you say and it looked pretty reasonable to me.
I'm not disputing whether washed-out takeoffs are harder or easier, I'm saying carved ones look better to me. And I'd agree that carved ones are harder too.
of course you gotta carve a little bit to set it but walle was taking of an ice rink, and personally i feel sliding takoffs like boarders usually do for frontsides is way cooler also feels better when you land them. powdery or rutted kickers suck imo. slushy kickers is ok as long as its not to deep
I get what you're saying, and I disagree. It is indeed easier to catch your nose spinning switch off a jump, but that same softness of the snow allows you to use your edges and actually set the spin. Going switch into an icy kicker sucks because there is no grip and you'll never set a dub rodeo.
