I am looking at colleges and being able to ski as well as the school itself is very important to me. Looking at U Michigan-Ann Arbor, are there any good parks/mountains around there...preferably under an hour

i go to mich. just transfered here, and ive went skiing 3 times this season. .. .. . but im in architecture which means you dont have time for anything. we go on weekend 'ski vacations' such as heading up to boyne or crystal if you consider that any kind of vacation destination. get on the club ski team and they travel a lot

I went to school for Ski Area Management in Ironwood MI. for 2 years. There were 5 ski areas within 30 miles. Skiing was awesome but the town and college sucked. I moved to Marquette, MI last year to get my bachelors from NMU and ski everyday. I work at the hill which is only 5 minutes from campus. The hill is ill the park is dope and the school scene is pretty chill. Parties are any and every night of the week. Nice College town.

go to nmu

in a^2? no. dont come here for skiing. that would be bad bad. bad

bad. go to nmu or mtu. the academics are of a different level, but it's cheaper and the u.p. is sick. mtu has a bus to the ski hill that runs all the time. it's really close to campus. im not sure about nmu.

both places are rad.

you can get rides im sure. if you go to school here, talk to the kids on the ski club, tell them you dont want to race, but just want to travel and party, you can hithc a ride. they head out to places quite often. i dont because im stuck at shcool wwork.

just sucks that there's no where close to ski.

i say go to tech if you can find an academic area you like, go to northern if you want better skiing different academics. go to um if you want serious academics, shit skiing.

oor. . move out west get residency
