My initials, CSF, is the molecular formula for cesium fluoride! CsF!!! Lawlz!1

oh man we have the same initials. by chance does your middle name start with an A?    yeah, what is Cs?

YES!

only it would be NPr: nitrogen praseodymium

remember it can by any combination of elements: 3 single-letter symbols or one double letter with a single

yeah bro the cool thing about cesium is that it is highly, highly reactive. if you took some pure cesium metal wire and dropped it in water, it changes into a compound so fast and releases so much energy when those bonds break that....... BOOM. it's not like tnt or anything but it does explode and it's still awesome.

by the way some of the elements you guys are putting together because they are your initials aren't actually compounds. it's not like any element can mix with any other and bond together, so some of you, actually i think most, are just spelling your monogram with elemental initials.

EXAMPLE

my initials are SRW. so i've got strontium and tungston. that's kinda cool. the problem is that no covalent bonding can occur between them and they are both metals, which all make positive ions. so no ionic bonding, either, b/c two positive ions can't bond...you need a negative and positive with the right quantities to make the charges cancel. so....no compound can be formed for me. shucks.

thats right, im a rare earth.

yay for rare earth elements...i think they actually synthesize you in the atomic accelerator at Berkeley

yeah i didn't want to kill the mood, but you're right. i was lucky that mine actually does work out to be an ionic bond between a transition metal and a halogen
