Shit guys I'm racist. You're most likely also racist, unless you're not white.

Now I know this is a select compilation of clips from the nights following the lack of an indictment of the officer, and there were likely at least a substantial group of people there who truly wanted justice and not 'to fuck shit up."

I want to know if any of you guys have had an encounter with the police, that you think would have gone a different way were you not white?

For anybody reading this that considers themselves part of a group that is discriminated against by the police (inb4 urban skiers getting kicked out of Target parking lots), do you have any experiences where you felt you've been targeted simply based on your skin colour?

As proven in the Eric Garner case, even on camera police can get away with killing black men. So what's the point?
 
that one guy with the red striped rag's comments almost gave me cancer. he is blaming all of his problems on everyone that is not black and then calls himself a jew because he feels persecuted. insanity
 
it'd be awesome if all cops wore cameras. then maybe all of these people bitching would shut the fuck up when there is irrefutable footage exonerating the officer(s), and on the opposing end, proof when they abuse their powers.
 
Im so incredibly speechless about how the eric garner case was handled. It's seriously fucked and I don't know what else to say
 
Everytime i have dealt with the cops I have been let off the hook. Does it help that im white? Probably doesnt hurt.

You know what helps the most? That i understand my role in society and I understand theirs. I am educated and I show them respect. I admit when im wrong and accept any punishments that may come my way.

Twice officers had the right to put me in jail and both times they opted not to because I showed them respect. Respect gets respect
 
Unpopular opinion alert!

The interviewer is a dumbass. He was asking loaded questions to prove a point. You oppress a group of people for so long it's only a matter of time before they start to feel hatred towards that group of oppressors.

For instance look at the John Crawford case. Guy picks up a pellet gun starts shopping some terrified dickhead starts lying to the 911 caller. I feel that guy should be thrown in prison for the cause of John Crawford's death. If you haven't heard about it look it up.

That's not why he thinks black people are the real jews.....fuck dude, google or something. There are literally a dozen fringe religions/groups in black communities that claim that blacks are the real chosen people and that they are actually from where the biblical jews are from, or some shit like that. You've never heard all the white people cave dweller shit and and the 5% nation and whatnot? I don't know details and might be confusing a few different ideas, but he wasn't saying that they're the real jews and that the interviewer wasn't jewish because he feels persecuted.

This is the truth.

Honestly, I have been a nightmare to cops on multiple occasions. But by 'nightmare', I mean drunk and being a dick that was mouthing off.

Here's some pro tips for all of you people out there who are trying to be the next victim:

Do not resist arrest.

Do not attack a police officer.

As much as it sucks, address them as "yes, sir" and "no, sir"...As a citizen, it's what you need to do. Just comply.

It's called abiding by laws, and we all need to do it. Don't be a fucking degenerate.

Honestly, how much this entire thing has escalated has made me completely sick. America is a fucked up place these days, and the media is just feeding off of it by feeding us sheeple with all of the gut-wrenching info.

I agree with those who give respect to the police when they interact, as I aways address them with "yes sir/maam." Growing up in St. Luois as a kid was interesting to say the least. You will never understand the frustration of the cops knocking on your moms front door at 6am with a battering ram, only to find out they raided the wrong house. But of course they still tore apart your entire home looking for drugs that do not exist, and then leave like nothing ever happened. The police do not care what color you are, they only think "us vs them."

Yes, I personally have offended this particular person due to the fact that I am white.

In my opinion, everyone deserves the right to be treated the same. Unless they have proven themselves to be worthy of different treatment should they be treated differently.

Unfortunately not everyone shares this opinion.

I'll share a story that I've been thinking of in recent weeks. I was 20 years old and a party I was at got busted. I had only had a few drinks but was pretty blazed. My eyes turn blood red when I smoke. They pulled me aside and sat me down. The cop next to me drops something at my feet, in my buzzed and stoned state, I instinctively reach for it to hand it back to him only to realize it was his knife. I apologized but after he picked it up he 'cuffs me. I get uncuffed a few minutes later and go on my way with just a drinking ticket.

Does this happen if i'm black? No matter how respectful I am, I don't think it does.
 
If you call someone a racist enough, it won't make them a racist, but it will definitely make them hate YOU.

Police target black people no question about it. On the flip side white people get targeted by black people in the hood. Both statements are racist, both statements are true.

Well, what is the angle these protestors are trying to take? That the law enforcement system in this country is fucked, or that all white males are the worlds worst creature? This is really ridiculous and I think it takes away from their cause.

honestly, the way that the media covers this story gives me a severe disinterest. Not because the kid is black, because of the way these pussy-ass white reporters share these stories like all whites are the problem. fuck that guilty shit.
 
This hurt my brain, the amount of hypocracy made me sick. Since I am white, I am immediately the racist, is that not racist what that man said? I just don't understand, maybe somebody can enlighten me?
 
the point of this video was to make black people look stupid which kinda pissed me off. its like going to the deep south and walking around with a camera asking old red neck guys what they think of black people.

If you think about it though, the reporter was just walking around asking questions, he could have asked anyone of those people and probably would have gotten similar responses if they are all there, would they not be supporting similar causes. Food for thought.

For the most part I feel all my police interactions that have went down were impartial to my skin color. That being said I do feel one particular time I was profiled by age and appearance. Then again I drive a lowered car with an exhaust so maybe I deserved what I got.

Anyway I was fined for air fresheners, "obstructed" license plate, and being uninsured in the state of Vermont (though I'm an NH resident). Anyways, I was entirely respectful (as I always am) to the officer but still got the tickets. I don't think if I had been black it would be any different but Im curious to know if I had been older or driving a different vehicle it might have. Oh well. Besides that my interactions with police have always been fine and also always end with a warning (probably in part to that little thing we call being respectful/truthful).
