this could seriously save you. Its pretty long but its worth watching cause i know if i had gotten pulled over last time I bombed past a state trooper 40 mph over the speed limit with a bubbler, hookah, herb and illegal passenger (ha ya connor) in the backseat i would not have been prepared to defend my rights. Now I am.

I've never had a problem with any cops. Been wasted at a parties, been high at parties, had cops come. EIther ducked them, or played it straight and got let go. You cant be a retard talking to a cop. Just be normal. Its easy.

Not true. The cops in my area came in through the back yard and started busting kids for underage. The parent who was sponsoring the party (after Prom gig) got charged $10,000 a kid and got his liscence to practice law taken away. Cops can be huge dicks.
 
wow that sucks. i can kinda see kids gettin in trouble when parents arent there, but if parents are hosting the party they usually get arrested or fined
 
Yeah, I went to a party as well and I never go because of the sketchyness and what happens? A cop shows up. I was outside at the time and chatted with him, and he went inside where there was about 8 or 9 kids all drinking and they saw the cop walking up to the house and hid all the beer in the next room. When the cop came up to the house, my friend let him in, he looked around, and said, "Well as long as I don't have to be called back, it's fine." After that he left and we went back to partying... quietly... and paranoid.
 
that is an awesome video. it's kinda long, but everyone should watch it. that shit is very very useful in real life, and will save you from getting your ass arrested. i could have used that more than a few times in the past.

haha i always kno when the cops are going to bust a party...when the jocks leave you leave...at my high school they get tips from the football coach, whos connected with the cops.
 
My law teacher in grade 12 told me how to deal with cops if your hosting a party and they show up. First of all, when they knock on the door... make sure that No open alcohol can be seen. Open the door, says "Just a minute officer, I will be right with you." Close the door, Go out the back, Get the officers partner to stop tresspassing and get out of your back yard, go back to the front of the house and take the officer for a walk down the street away from your house. He cant go in without a warent or just cause, like suspecting underaged drinking. If he doesnt see anything through the windows, and you dont let his partner snoop around the back of your house... Youll be fine.

That means for party planning, Close the blinds or keep it in the basement, or be civil outside so no one calls in complaints. Or warn your neighbours ahead of time that your having a shindig. That way if there is a problem, they will go to you before the cops.
 
the worst is the scene with the black kid... he got his rights violated more than anyone else since he was absolultly nothing wrong.

For me learning about my rights related to searching my car is huge. im pretty sure that same situation will happen to me in the next 5 years
 
honestly tho lets be real.....if your from massachusetts and get pulled over by a statie....if you dont consent to a search PLEASSE BELIEVE that they WILL get the dogs they do not bluff.....even in worcester where i live dont fuck around they will get the k9s without a doubt if you dont let them search your whip.....but i guess if u live in some little ass town where its a big deal to get the dogs then you are STRAIGHTTT
 
no if they dont have any evidence reason to search your car then u can tell them to fuck off (i dont concent to searches) . if they see something - plain view rule or your car reeks of weed then yea they will search u or bring in dogs

No, we have a charter. What's the difference? The "out" clause in article 1. So yeah, it basically does help you. You can do the same thing up here.

I watched about 20 minutes of that, and it's all incredibly obvious. In fact I've posted most of that stuff on this very forum in threads where people complained about cops. They aren't God... that stuff does work.
 
definitely good advice.

my only bad run-in came when some kid was up on the roof of the apartment and peed on a passerby on the street below. if it hadnt been for that asshole i would still have a clean record
