Are you man enough to shave your legs?

you just a scurred little bitch. People try to justify the shit they do with bullshit excuses. don't say you just do it for sports, that's like when someone says that your shoes are gay, and you try to make an excuse and say "no, whatever. i just got them because they're Way Comfortable". It's bull and you know it. Rep whatever you like to do with pride, don't hide it. In no way am i gay btw, but i'm still not so insecure that i can't tell people it's way the fuck better. It's actually caught on quite nicely where i live. Even the head football coach (more manly than any one on this site ((sorry but it's true)) ) shaves his legs. it's called 'for shit's and giggles' and its amazing. if you're not man enough to sack up and say 'yes, i did shave my legs, and i'm not gay, you're just fuckin jealous' then your jsut a scurred little bitch. /patriotic rant

the hair just gets super short on my upper ankles during ski season anyway so it's all good, i like having leg hair

Why would you shave your legs??? Its like an extra layer, I dont even need anything under my snowpants. Built in wool pants bitch.

i shaved mine last winter after losing a bet.
i had to get my knee checked out by a doctor a few days later and needless to say, it was sufficiently awkward

hah i shave my legs like once a week..i just like it. I'm a runner, and it shows off the veins and definition. Not that that's an excuse, I enjoy the feeling of shaved legs.

The best feeling is getting into your bed after shaving them fresh..sooo good.

I feel like every time that I post, the thread immediately dies. But heres a post-race photo from a couple weeks ago. Shaving definitely helps:

And my legs aren't always that veiny haha. Just after a race or workout..

holy fuck roid rage!!!

and i go with the entire body, not just legs. no real reason besides the fact that i hate hair.

I tried it once when I was playing hockey and the socks kept itching hardcore in the skates and shit. It didnt really make a good enough difference. shit still itched haha.

It was terrible with wearing pants in the winter, when the bottoms of your jeans get wet, and they hit the leg and you're like WTF where did my hair go.. that, or any time that its really cold out and the pants you're wearing just so happen to be cold, and they hit your leg.. its an odd sensation.

I also noticed, that it didnt protect well from heat either. Hair is a fantastic natural insulator of both heat and cold.. and one time I was standing by a fire we made one night and my legs were seriously feeling like they were burning up. I got on my knees to mess with some stuff in the fire, and it was noticibly different, and my thighs dont even have that much hair on them..

but the straight up WORST THING EVER was when my hair started to grow back out initially... it itched more hardcore than anything I had ever experienced in my life... it was like having an itchy asshole that you couldnt get rid of, all over your legs... and you keep wanting to reach down and scratch your shins and calves, but of course you look silly reaching down and lifting your leg up after every 7 steps to scratch the fuckers...

I honestly dont even understand why you'd shave them.. hair IMO is a much more slippery surface than your skin itself... and when swimming does it REALLY make that much of a difference? I'd just give up and get a full suit thing...

I did it one season, and honestly I noticed a difference. I know its the opposate of what everybody else said. I work in my ski boots though. I am in them every day in the winter for at least 10 hours. It was even better when spring came along. Because when I would sweat in my boots, it would just chaff my ski, and the hair would just rip out. With no hair, the socks just did their work better since they were right next to skin. Not nearly as much sweat. The hair rips out less. Yeah its colder, but I find my thermals do their work better when they are right next to skin.

I don't have a problem with leg shaving I've just never seen the need. I have no idea what your guyzez prollems with ski boots are and I'm not a swimmer or biker or anything.
