Are you kidding me?

it is really expensive, which is why I bring my own all the time. BUT at least the food is usually really good at the bigger resorts. not like my school with the same prices but complete shit for food. I'd rather pay for good food than bad food.

my homeboy brings a grill in the back of his car thats like 2 ffet big, and we just straight grill burgers our there in the lot at lunch. or my ommmy will usually pack me some PB and Js

psh when i ski i have a big breakfast, make a sandwich at home put it in my pocket eat it on the lift 4 lunch then go home and eat goood tasty home cooked dinner!!! mmmm or sum dudes just buy me lunch wuteva works out

yeah, that's bullshit.

eating $27 cash would be more satisfying than spending it on fried food.

just pack your lunch - or stuff things like cookies, cheez-its, crackers, raisins, pretzels into your ski pockets (why do you think so many people were XL/XXL clothing? you can fit more snacks!)

if your a real dirtbag the best lunch is the cracker burger.

Get two crackers (or more)

If they are available get all the burger toppings (pickles, lettuce, tomatoes)

Put toppings inside crackers

Add your favourite condiment

Its beautiful and free. Your hill has to have the burger toppings outside of the till to make this possible.

Or if you are at a smaller hill and staff get free coffee, make them think you are staff and then fit whatever you can into a coffee cup

At my mtn the food isnt that expensive but its very shitty and if youre hungry it doesnt help at all. ANd dont want to bring my own food because i dont wanna wear a backpack while riding

West WA, but I go out that way a lot cause I have a lot of family. Usually hit up Mission Ridge/Stevens on the way over, but I want to hit Loup Loup sometime...

here is an idea.... cook some thin sliced steakes that you buy at costco and fry them the night before you bounce and store them in the fridge. When you leave put them in a container. Bring some mustard, some salad and tomatoes and some woandah bread ... (keep it in the car, its like a fridge [if you have slept in one at the slpes u know what i am talking about]). Make yourself a delicious sandwhich. Fuck man you can get even more creative then that ... bring a tortilla heater and soe chesse and an adapter for ur freagin car. I am so sick of fastfood

Just buy a small pizza from a pizzaplace before you go up, or the night before. Usually fairly well priced, healthy, good cold, no utensils or table needed, and stackable.

i definatly thought that paying 23$ for 2 slices of pizza 2 fries 2 gatorades and jello was wack but that just nuts what you pay

at my home mountain maple ski ridge the food is dirt cheap, $3 for a large fry, $2 for pizza,$2 for a large soda. its all good but its a small place

14 for a rockstar and a chicken finger/fry thing, i understand 8 for the chicken thing MAYBE but 6 fucking dollars for a rockstar????? you could buy 4 for that at any other place.

i couldnt imagine prices to be any higher than they already were at my mountain...5 for chicken tenders, 3 for gatoraid, 4 for monster energy drinks, 2.25 for fries.

those prices blow me away...im even to cheap to eat at my mountain so i go down the street to Mcdonalds and grab a number 6 for 3.70.

wordwordworddd. i buy 6 packs of chicken flavor and keep them in my backpack. but guess what happened last week?

SMUGGS RAN OUT OF HOT WATER!!! HOW THE HELL DO YOU RUN OUT OF WATER!!!! SO IT DOWN TO eating ramen, raw man.

jea, but its 5.55 for a large sausage/pepp/cheese in vt, feeds 3 easily. or a bag of crazy bread feeds one pretty well for 2.50

booya. i stop at stewarts for a fresh breakfast sandwich, and thats the only food i ever buy for skiing. if im dieing for somthin i'll just ask a friend for their employee discount

dude jus tell them u get the discount and if they ask if u are an employe jus say yes and u get it cheaper. ya its still a fuck shit expensive but it saves like 5 moneys.

1.29 for a large cookie.. not bad

2.40 ish for a drink

i still dont buy much

i got a gift card so ill use that if im in desperate need

i usally eat before and after i go i dont find wasting ski time fun

I rarely buy hill food because it is so expensive and when I do I just have one of my friends who works there buy it because they get 50% off. Still its retardedly expensive, but not quite so detrimental on the pockets.

we got Wendys, MCcdonalds, taco bell, arbys and a walmart less than 5 minutes from our hill so its prety legit

it a good thing for the resorts, at least in the immediate sense. though over time they could be screwing themselves by alienating the locals/middle class and more hardcore skiers/riders. the same can be said for prices of almost anything at and around a developed resort town. sooner or later there will only be people blue collar workers and the people that own the companies the workers work for in some of these places. and chances are in many cases the workers will not be able to afford their own product.

Yea its a rip off and I think it causes alot of stealing of food at places. I usually pack a drink and bring a dollar for a piece of cake, doughnut or a candy bar.

yeah i meant 4.50 not 450, and i have been known to stick chicken finger in my pockets and pull them out on the lift =D, the chicken and soda are real cheap at my mtn because the owners also own a soda company, i dunno about the chicken though, maybe its actually cat, it tastes good though

its like that herre too , and whistler

but at whistler, its 2 slices of pizza + drink + choc bar came to 9.95. i wasnt too unhappy about that

what.. i thought whistler would be crazy expensive, thats a good deal. maybe even what you'd pay at a normal pizza place
