Just wondering, when your old and saggy and have some kids of your own are you gonna try to get them into freeskiing and get em hooked on NS?

Nope, if I start my kid doing anything, it'll probably be hockey and if not that; racing. You can always change once your a great skier, so ya.

dude im going to take my kid up every single day and get em better than i ever was at any age when they are still like 10 years old

I will get them skiing but then let them do what ever they want if it is racing then they can do that, if they just like the terrain park then it will be that but I will still try to get them to learn how to ski steeps and powder, but if they dont like to ski I wont force them, unlless they are lazy.

Im just gonna tell my kid to ski. I could care less what they do. It would be cool if they got into freestyle, but even if its racing, it will be cool because they will be on skis.

I agree. I'm gonna get my kids on skis right away, I'll teach them good mountain etiquette, too. If they are going to the mountain and having fun it doesn't matter if they are boarding or skiing, just as long as they aren't skiboarding.

of coarse. prob wont let them on newschoolers. ive seen the stuff you guys post.

but i will, and we will have a singing traveling family band. it will be super!

my 4 and 6 year old girls already want to ski and are going up with me next week. my youngest already watches sarah burke in my videos and says" i wanna do that daddy" so sounds like theyre on their way

hell yes. my daughter will be the next sarah burke. and my son will be a cross between ganier and hall

For sure, I will get them in to mountain biking first tho, teach them to jump those and ski with them so they learn the foundations, I would rather camp w/ my kids tho, I get the feling my wife won't be a big skiier.

uve thought a lot about this. ill introduce them to skiing at an early age. i hope they wont snowboard, but if they like it im not gonna stop them

i will teach them to ski and show them freestyle skiing, and if they like it then i will support them 100%. by them all the gear, take em up everyday i can, be there for them. if they like other things that is fine too, i will support them in w/e they do.

Hell yeah dude. And hopefully by then I might be pro so I can give um siiick gear. And Im gonna make sure they focus more on style then there cab 14's.

yeah its pretty fuckin sweet....makes babysitting sweet when moms gone i just sit and watch ski vids all day

I will defintely introduce them to skiing, but i wouldn't want to force anything on them. The kids that usually burn out in sports are the kids in which their parents forced them to do it. So il show it t them, if the like it great, if they don't thats fine.

pussy. scared to traumatize your kids huh? scared to make them hate you and hate everything about you. thats the whole fun about having kids. and then when they totally hate you and want you to die. you tell them your old and that they need to support you. JEA!

No, Im going to shelter them from skiing. But from the age of one Ill train them in the art of the Razor Scooter.

yea I'll get them into freeskiing but then again I don't want my kids to have to go through any of the injuries that I've been through.

im gonna get them into skiing really young and their gonna be amazing too, unles they have like down syndrome, that would just suck

i would like them to do skiing, to learn how to ride powder, teles and terrain parks, but i wont force them, if they want to do snowboarding, its not a problem.

snowblading is out of question. i would prefer drugs to snowblading, honestly.

but if they dont want to do any sport, i will force them to do one, its so important for you overall condition and i hate kids that just go to bars all the time and spend the rest playing computer.

I've got 2 kids, 6 and 4. Both are starting to get into skiing, my daughter, who's 6 I'm working on more freeskiing stuff with, rails and that sort of thing. She's not picking it up very much, but my son is all about it, he loves skiing and we'll build a good base and start the hardcore stuff afterwards.
