Are urban punx really that soft?

in the freeskier buyers guide they said its pretty much a rail only ski, and wouldnt work on jumps or something like that. but that was probably some 35 year old skier who only likes stiff skis. but for someone who weighs like 150 how would they be on like jumps over 60-70?

and if anyone has skiied them how good are they for butters and stuff? im guessing really good, but how easy is it to like hold butters and stuff?

they are a really good park ski in my opinion..i have skied them a couple of times having just got them and they are very soft..i love them actually..they are super easy to butter and hold presses and stuff like that..if you land backseat these skis are very forgiving and in my opinion one of the best all around park skis i have ridden..i had a little chatter at higher speeds but they arent to bad..i would give them like a 7.5 out of 10..the topsheets are a little weak but hey for a sweet ski im ok with that..

it depends what length. givin your weight i asume youll ride the 175 which are softer than the 184s from what i heared which are still pretty stiff like last years

^ see i seem to think they are..but yet i have them with the salomon z binding or whatever it is and they are the lightest ski i have picked up

i have invaders and iv skiied elizabeths and none of those felt too soft for me, so are these any softer, or will i be good?

they arent that soft, nice butter zones but they are still stiff enought for jumps.

good overall park skis

punx are pretty much the shit tho, more skulls for the money.

iv ebeen on the ski since last january, they are mad soft, but i havent had really any problems with the soft flex off jumps. and theyre super light

the 184 is not soft. medium stiffness. i have some for sale if your interested. i dont know about the 175 tho

i demoed the 09 punx a couple of months ago and they were a lot of fun in the park, and pretty decent for carving. Im probly gonna get myself a pair for next year.

I demoed them at Hood this summer....

Had trouble making it down the mountain on hard turns bc the tails are so soft

Barely could pump in the pipe bc they were to soft and wanted to get away from you

definitely a urban only ski

so they would be softer than a scratch fs? I'm looking for a butter ski, much like the t-hall
