they may or may not, depends on the school a lot of times, either way, just find out, ask some of the more senior players. By a detox drink, and keep it handy.
 
I know for a fact that they have to give you 24 hours notice before they test you. so just buy a drink like everyone is saying and your golden.
 
i am pretty sure they drug test all NCAA acthletes. I know someon that plays D1 golf and they drug test him once at the begging of the season. I assume they will do the same for you
 
I've ran track and cross country for both NAIA and CACC and signed contracts for both saying I could be randomly tested for drugs and neither did.

It may happen to you but honestly they're not gunna check every athlete in the NCAA it simply costs too much money.
 
correct. they only test people under 2 circumstances.

1.) You win your conference tournament and make it too nationals. And again if you win nationals.

2.) You are randomly selected (probably not gonna happen) and then you are given a 24 hour notice.

 
i play D3 golf in ohio....they won't drug test you. They will only give you a physical.

BUT, if you do make it to the ncaa tournament, they will drug test you.

so dont smoke anytime before the tournament just to be safe.
 
I played D2 golf at school in Vermont and they never did test me and I think they do need to give you 24 hr. notice...
 
yeah man they have to give you at least a 24 hour notice because it goes against the 4th amendment about unreasonable search... just detox nig
 
unless there is some magical drink i doubt i could detox in 24 hours... thats why i just wanna know upfront so i do have enough time
 
eh, football players get caught all the time and nothing ever happens to them. Maybe a one PLAY suspension or something. Then again, football is more important than golf at most schools.
