Are these skis warranty worthy??

k so basically i was just cruisin through kings crown today and it was our last run... i hit the last jump in kings crown and didn't really overshoot... i just took it pretty deep but the landings are REALLY flat.. (go ahead and ask anybody that skis pc and they'll say the same thing) anyway i didn't notice that this had happened untill i got down to the bottom and took my skis off and put them together... i talked to this shop by my house that is a local head dealer and the guy there said that they would probably just call it "IMPACT DAMAGE" since it was obivous that i have been jibbing rails all year.. what do you guys think?? shouldn't i be able to warranty these?? i already called heads main place in Connecticut but they were already closed for the day.

the skis are this years head mojo 80's, just take a look at the pics below, you have to look close but you can see how it just split parallel to the base.

definitely worth a try, if you tell them how you did it they will probably examine it in reference to that but i have never had to deal with head. good luck!
 
deff try and claim that shit...nothing to lose, plus i would say thats some pretty bad damage for like half a season
 
warranty worthy my last years invaders are delamming and the edges fell out and fucking line is sending me a new pair

 
Just try it, won't hurt anything. I had my base delaming from my core on my jp vs jl and i sent them in, but they couldn't be warrantied but armada hooked me up with a new pair for 180 (435 off) so might as well try.
 
Of course they sent you invaders! Every fucking one did that, they were crap. They were prepared to replace every one produced. The heads though should not have done that, even on rail use. Head should know this and I would think give you new skis.
 
im just impressed you managed to break a pair of mojos. they should replace them out of pure admiration
 
^^ i'm glad all you guys are on the same page as me.. i love heads product, they've never done me wrong in the past and i was shocked to say the least when i saw that this happened today.. i've been a customer to them for quite some time so i would probably be more shocked of them not giving me a warranty then i was when i saw that the ski was broken..
 
I just waranteed some mojos with that exact problem but worse (you could see the wood core). They did warantee mine- you might wanna ski em a little more until the problem worsens though.
