Are these skis broken?

So I hadn't ridden my Lizzies since last season and went to dig them out of my closet only to find this weird bulging top sheet thing happening. At first glance I though the ski was totally broken, but upon closer inspection the core doesn't appear to be seriously damaged. Can somebody tell me if it's fucked? Is it going to snap the second I try to butter it? I'm thinking I just ride it till it gives out on me. Thanks.

Epoxy-> clamp flush to the rest of the ski-> cut excess epoxy off-> ski->profit.

This exactly. It can definitely be repaired and it is actually much easier than it looks.

Hard to tell, but it looks like not only the topsheet, but also some or all of the fiberglass layers above the core have peeled up. If this is the case, the structural integrity of the skis has been compromised. I would recommend getting some high-grade marine epoxy (Gflex is the bomb) and epoxy and clamp the shit out of it. If you are careful and work fast enough, you can heat the epoxy with a hair dryer or heat gun to make it less viscous so it will flow all the way into the split and create a more faithful bond. Also, use an obscene about of clamps so that there is pressure on every possible spot that has delaminated. Good luck.

Usually when I see a ski like that it's because the core has snapped at that point and the topsheet has bulged up from the ski bending unevenly.

I'd try flexing the ski at that point, if it flexes normally then do as the other people have been saying (epoxy and heat + clamp), if it bends weirdly at that point they're probably done.

^have you flexed tested them to see if they fkex normally still. I saw two skis just this week with snapped cores that looked exactly like that. No sidewall damage it just looked like a delam but on closer inspection the core had snapped on both and no amount of expoxy will fix that.

What at you want to do is flex the ski at that point. If it flexs much easier at that point then unfortunately the core has probably gone and these are your new shot skis.
