Are these bindings different?

all that is different is the rise/flex plate. i assume you can remove the binding from the plate but i don't guarantee it. if you need good bindings find a buddy who races and bend out the brakes
 
i have no buddys that race haha, but thanks. i dont like how that plate looks on there but if someone can vouch for it or give me a link to a better pair/deal it would be much appreciated +k
 
I have old p10s that came with a riser plate but when I went to switzerland I took the bindings without thew plates underneath to get mounted. Its no big deal at all and they look alot better IMO. The only problem is that you have to make sure you tell the shop techs who mount them to shorten the screws or they will protrude into the base. If they shorten them you will have no problems. Mine work fine.
 
yeah that was my original thought. but honestly i dont trust my shop techs. i live in upstate ny and know these ones are idiots for the most part. if it comes to it ill have him ask them for shorter screws and not grind them down
