Airplanes, helicopters, gliders, or any thing else? I am currently working on my Single Engine Land Private Pilot, just did my first Solo cross-country today. I have around a week and a half before I take the final check ride.

i wish i could fly because if i could i would fly my plane into the fucking ground because i want to fucking die blaaahaah

I think seanpistol is working on his...or maybe that was someone else...

im interested in it, but it will probially be hard to get a start... and i hear that its hard to get a job and school is mad expensive.

So no flight time so far? Where are you taking ground at? I'm doing mine at Utah Valley State College. I have both the Private and Instrument ground, and written tests done. Now just need to get some serious flight time in this next fall semester. Then it is on to Commercial.

i know how to fly, my dad has a small 4 seater, and he lets me fly it, he just takes naps and i kinda fly around.

Not really lately though, because it the fucking aetus surrounding washington, D.C. has made it really difficult with all the restrictions.

no flight time yet. i'm at a community college in so cal. i'm taking my FAA exam in 2 weeks and then i start flight school. i should have my private pilots license by the end of summer. then it's on to instrument and multi engine ratings... if i can afford it. after that and i finish up college with a 4-year degree i plan on going into the military.

And you know this how? I spent 4 months looking into every branch of the military and talking with them to see what they could give me. No one could garuntee me a job flying. Sure they could offer to train me, but that is only the first year, and you have to commit to 4. I was going to do the Navy and take a chance untill my parents finaly caved in and said they would pay for half of tuition. Also when I get everything done and finish my degree, if I can't find a job, I can get in as an enlisted officer of some sort, and then they will pay my loans for me.

My GPA in highschool was like a 2.7 or something. The private school I went to had a tuff grade scale. But my GPA for my freshman year is a 3.8 But honestly UVSC will take anyone I think.

Good luck on your FAA exam man. I found a really good way to study. Take the test guide, go through it and highlight the right answer for all the questions. Then go through the book like 2 more times cover up the answers, read the question, think about the right answer, then only read the rigth highlited answer. Never read the wrong answers. Then when you go take the 60 questions you will recognize the ones you have and haven't read. Then I also go to www.mywrittenexam.com and take some practice tests. It worked really well for me. I scored a 98% on the Private Exam and a 97% on the Instrument Exam. And I think a 70% is a passing grade.
