Are there any other rowers on NS?

i did for one season but gave up. didnt really enjoy it. i guess i was pretty good

i rowed for 4 years, got more into rugby. Mens heavyweight 8, then HW double. trained single for a while but didnt compete.

YES!

i'm shocked actually, i never thought i'd find anyone on this site who does. you goin to charles or saratoga?

Wow... I never would have thought there are other rowers either.
I just started rowing for Lehigh, been doing it for just over a month and had my first regatta saturday.http://www.lehighsports.com/sports/rowing/schedules/displayResult.asp?GAME_ID=3778

I rowed in lehigh A boat in the 2v8 and lehigh B in the Novice 4's. In the four on our second pass, we walked on f&m's boat and put almost a boat-length of water on them. It was awesome, even though we went nuts and I ripped my palm open.

i only rowed singles. firts time ever rowed was in a double. went to henly a couple times. idnt do that good haha. ya its good for bakance

I rowed singles and crews for school. Picking it back up on the weekend for a club.

Apparently singles is relaly good for skiing because it works everything inclduing your core and legs.

I rowed for 2 years for CRI and it was the most miserable experience of my life. Rowing is just a painful sport, there is nothing fun about it.

I did for a year, gunna get back into it.my bestfriend is a rower and he's like 5th in Canada...schools like harvard, yale and princeton have been sending him letters.

yeah i was! bummer i should have checked ns before i left, oh well. haha it rained so much yesterday. even though we basically all caught hypothermia we just spent the whole day running through the 6 inch puddles ha. how'd you guys do?

yoo I row, kills my social life and shortens my days but I love it.... went to head of the charles last weekend and came 4th in the youth 4s.... lightweight whatsup

my friends are all really into rowing, they go to henley, charles, etc. they're all at some regatta down in portland right now. most of my friends row for greenlake crew in seattle, and a few others row at mount baker crew too.

i rowed at greenlake for one summer but didn't like it all that much so i quit. i'm glad i did, it has the potential to be the most time consuming activity in the world.

one of my friends has ns, i'll get him to post on this thread.
