Are There Any Decent Black/African American Skiers?

haha oh man he was in my group at CoC a couple summers ago! He killed it, I remember he got hurt cause he bailed on a cork 9 off a 50 footer wiht a monster kick wiht rear entry boots. What a guy. Is he on this site?

i was at vail and saw a kid with a huge green jersey on under his jacket who was doin huge sw 9s, he was pretty sick
 
JL RATCHEL fukin rips and hes a fukin kool guy hes got mad mad mad style and he rides for Armada and is the only skier i know sponsored by Split clothing he should be on the Armada Am team and so should Zac Davidson and Yuki Kadota.
 
That guy in Freeze was in freeze, the first year i bought a ski magazine. In Grade 8!!! Im almost done high school now, and Freeze is long gone, and still... 4 and a bit years later, some guy posts a thread yesterday, that already has 77 (now this post will be 78)

5 years ago however this happened. And we are still talking about it.. Some like this triggered a brain flick in our brain, and somehow let us delve several years back in our minds.!! Frightening....

I am almost positive that the black guy in the freeze contenders a while back was nicky adams, cuz i remember them asking how the transition was from rollerblading, to ski boarding to skiing
 
i'm technically african american since my parents are from south africa and my whole family still lives there
 
what the hell were you trying to say? i just realized that not a lotta black people ski and the only thing about black people skiing i remember is the guy who was the contender

on the note of black skiers, kina pickett is the freakin man. mostly skis big mountain/bc but he kills it. i think he resides in jackson.
