Are the skis too big?

I went to get my 172 line chronics mounted at my sportcheck yesterday and the guy told me that the skis were too big for me ,which i refused to believe. Im about 5'6-5'7 and i just want to get your opinion on this, are they to big?
 
No. I don't see how the guy can just look at you and tell you that the skis are too big for you, he really doesn't have any clue what he's doing. My skis are between 3-10 cm above my head, but there's also people who like skis that hit their eyebrows. So basically just tell that guy to shut up and do his job.
 
^werd man those skis should be damn near perfect on you, tell that guy hes out of line and he should just stfu and do his job
 
Your skis is supposta be as tall as you.Some people like them smaller,some people like them bigger.
 
exactly, I cant believe you took your shit to get mounted at sportcheck. possibly the dumbest people are sportcheck employees. my buddy got his ski's mounted there and they were both mounted in different places on the ski, off by about a centimeter. ive seen stripped holes, fucked edges and bases that have been fucked by idiots not knowing how to use the tuning machines properly. take your skis to a legitimate ski shop and get all your servicing done by people who know what they are doing.
 
ya i dont no why i went to sportcheck,my friend want ther and charged him 20$ and didnt even center it for him.
