umm those numbers are totally accurate. If you know of anyone who's got a condo up here tell them to come up and shovel out thier house - before it's too late.
i think that those numbers are probably for the unpacked snow, considering that they haven't actually been getting snow for that long..... i dunno. unfortunately i won't be there for opening day as i have exams until the 18th
MY CABIN IS GONE...THERE IS BUTTLOADS OF SNOW UP THERE HOLLY SHIT!!!!! IT'S GOING TO BE A RAD WINTER. THE SNOW CLEARING GUY (STEWART) HAD TO CHARGE US MORE MONEY FOR SNOW REMOVLE CAUSE THE BUDGET FOR THE WINTER HAS ALREADY BEEN USED.
yeah the weather has gotten a bit warmer so the snow is starting to pack a bit. it's now down to 295cm base. I hiked up yesterday and got two runs. Outrigger was awesome, got first tracks down bigfoot (which was crusty), gonna hit up some more fresh on the sasquach side tomorrow morning if it isn't cat-tracked today. I'm dieing to build some kickers, the ridges on the face are just huge looking.
Supposed to get a bit warmer, it's frozen rain right now, small hail. It's been warm and we've lost some snow but we got a foot monday night so it'll all even out in the long run. cold on the weekend though!
manning thursday probably, because that's when they're reopening the alpine (closed due to tons of snow being unstable or something like that).... i'll get to hemlock eventually too.
hemlock is getting freezing rain apparantly. i tried to get to manning today but they closed the road because it was covered with 8 inches of snow and semis were all over the place. manning's also beating hemlock in terms of base (not by much though)..... so.... nobody go to manning because i want it all for myself whenever i manage to get there.
